The Importance of Integrity

To us, integrity is when you do what you say and say what you do.

In the spirit of what inspired this, we recently had a candidate who seemed really great at first, but based on further digging, ended up not exemplifying the level of integrity we value (yes, background checks are very helpful).

We live in a busy and full world. It’s tough to compartmentalize things. Whether it’s looking at a candidate’s full character, discerning your entire home or simply considering what values we should have in our company vs. our personal lives. Everything is connected.

It’s these connections that seem to make integrity an asset or a liability (if one lacks said integrity) in the fabric we weave. When we wrote our team values, we actually started with our own personal values. Sparkly’s team values are literally the values we hold each day. We are not perfect by any means, but honesty has been a strong pillar in our home and office and a bullseye we shoot for each day.

Instead of sharing tips or tricks on house cleaning today, we wanted to share and shed a little light into who we are and how we think. Because, we really want it to be less about doing business with a company, and more about doing business with people. If we have the opportunity to win and have your business, we get to be in each other’s lives and homes (well, your home, not ours). So, let’s get to know each other.
